RESIDENCE PERMIT
For information regarding visas for entrance into Italy, please contact the Italian Embassy or Consulate in your Country.
Once the Centre has accepted your application, you will be sent an enrolment certificate via DHL.
This should be presented to the Italian Embassy or Consulate when you apply for a visa to study in Italy.
Study visas are issued for attendance at specific institutes; in this
case, your visa request should be made specifically for the Montessori
Course at the Centro Internazionale Montessori in Perugia.
Any other type of visa cannot be changed into a Study Visa at the Italian Embassy or Consulate in your own country.
This visa should be issued before you leave your own country.
In order to attend the course, students from non-European Union
countries will have to obtain a permesso di soggiorno, or residence
permit, from the Police Immigration Office once they are in Perugia.
To obtain the residence permit, students must take out insurance in Italy, which costs about US $100.
If the students have an international insurance, issued in their own
country, they have to obtain a declaration that such insurance is valid
also in Italy, from the Italian Embassy.
The Centre will provide students with all information necessary to obtain the residence permit and insurance.
