The theater-school laboratory

“Welcome to the theatre, where everything is fake, but nothing is fake” by Gigi Proietti.

Theatrical projects are of fundamental importance for the education of emotions and feelings in the context of extracurricular activities. For this reason our school is committed to carrying out this type of activity throughout the course of the school years.

This year again, the children of the primary school of the Montessori International Center undertook a theatrical journey that accompanied them to the end-of-year show.

Thanks to Domenico Madera, actor and founder of Teatro Le Onde theatre company, in the workshop students were able to explore the fundamentals of theatrical language, refine the movement of their body and space and to best modulate their voice and interpret the text.

“The Odyssey” the great classic chosen for this performance, also represented a metaphor for an important journey undertaken by the children this year, sure to undertake an equally extraordinary one next year.
